Словарь создан для продвинутых изучающих английский язык. В принципе, что такое Toefl, думаю, объяснять не нужно, но важность такого теста очень велика, даже огромная. Первый раз на сайте выходит En-En словарь, и я думаю это очень неплохая практика. Чем хорош En-En  словарь? — тем, что мы изучаем и значение слова по его эквивалентам.  Это превосходный способ «раздуплиться» в реально сложных словах.Одним словом, я восхищен этим словарем и подборкой слов в целом.  Вот некоторые советы при изучении:

1. не забывайте смотреть на транскрипцию и проверять произношение слов при изучении;

2. если вы не знаете самого словa — эквивалента изучаемого, нужно найти его :) :)

abyss — hole so deep as to appear bottomless
acquiesce — agree, accept without protest
affable — polite and friendly, easy to talk to
affliction — distress, suffering
affluent — wealthy, abundant
agitate — move, shake, stir up
